Honestly, I think horror has been super innovative lately. Movies like "Hereditary" and "Get Out" really push the boundaries and tackle some deep themes while still scaring the crap out of you. It’s like they’re not just about jump scares anymore; they’re really making you think.

I’d say sci-fi has been killing it with innovation recently. Films like "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and "Dune" have brought some wild concepts to the screen and really expanded what we can do with visual effects and storytelling. It’s exciting to see where they’re taking the genre!

I’ve got to give it up for animated films. They’re not just for kids anymore! Movies like "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "Soul" are pushing the envelope in terms of animation style and emotional depth. It’s like they’re redefining what animation can be, and I’m here for it!
