Honestly, the best way to cook rice is to rinse it first to get rid of that excess starch. Then, use a 2:1 water-to-rice ratio and bring it to a boil. Once it’s boiling, cover it, lower the heat, and let it simmer for about 18 minutes. Just don’t peek at it!

I swear by the absorption method! Just soak the rice for about 30 minutes, then use a 1.5:1 water-to-rice ratio. Bring it to a boil, cover it, and let it steam on low for around 15 minutes. Fluff it with a fork afterward, and you’re golden!

If you want foolproof rice, try the oven method! Preheat your oven to 375°F, mix the rice with boiling water and a bit of salt in a baking dish, cover it tightly with foil, and pop it in the oven for about 25 minutes. Perfectly fluffy every time!

A rice cooker is a game changer! Just measure your rice and water according to the cooker’s instructions, hit the button, and let it do its thing. You’ll get perfect rice without any hassle, and it keeps warm too!
