"Oh man, there have been quite a few! One that stands out is the 'Piss Christ' by Andres Serrano. It stirred up a ton of outrage when it was displayed because it featured a crucifix submerged in urine. People were super divided over whether it was art or just plain offensive. Then there’s the whole thing with the 'Christ in a Condom' piece by the artist who got a lot of backlash for mixing religion with sexuality. Definitely sparked some heated debates!"

"You can't forget about the infamous 'The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living' by Damien Hirst, which was just a giant shark in formaldehyde. A lot of folks thought it was a gimmick rather than real art. And then there was the whole debacle with the 'Mao' series by Andy Warhol, where some people felt it was disrespectful to the Chinese culture. Modern art really knows how to push buttons!"
