How do you feel about the commercialization of sports

Honestly, I think it’s a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand, the money helps improve facilities and pay athletes better, which is great. But on the other hand, it sometimes feels like the love of the game gets lost in all the ads and sponsorships. It can be overwhelming!

I get that sports need funding, but sometimes it feels like it’s all about the money now. You see more focus on profits than on the actual games. I miss when it was just about the love of the sport and not how many brands are plastered everywhere.

I’m kind of mixed on it. It’s cool that athletes can make a living doing what they love, but it can feel like the spirit of competition gets overshadowed by all the corporate stuff. I just hope it doesn’t ruin the essence of the games we love!
