"Honestly, if you want a solid custom slot car track, you can’t go wrong with MDF (medium-density fiberboard). It’s super smooth, easy to cut, and gives you a nice flat surface for your cars to glide on. Plus, you can paint it any color you want! Another great option is plywood if you want something a bit sturdier. Just make sure to sand it down well to avoid any bumps."
