When grooming a long-haired dog, it's key to brush them regularly to prevent mats and tangles. Aim for at least a few times a week, or daily if they have super thick fur. Use a good quality slicker brush or a comb, and start from the roots, working your way out to the tips. Also, give them a nice bath every couple of months with a dog-friendly shampoo to keep their coat clean and shiny. Don’t forget to check their ears and trim their nails too! Regular grooming not only keeps them looking great but also helps you spot any skin issues early on.
