Well, you know, classic art used to be seen as the pinnacle of culture and sophistication, like the ultimate status symbol. People would flock to galleries just to admire the old masters. But nowadays, there's a lot more debate about what art really is. Some folks think classic art is a bit stuffy or elitist, while others appreciate it for its historical value. Plus, with all the modern and contemporary art out there, people are starting to see classic pieces as just one part of a much bigger picture. It's like the art world has opened up, and everyone's got their own take on what’s valuable.
