**Boiling:** Just peel and chop the potatoes into chunks, then boil them in salted water until they're fork-tender. Drain them, and then mash away!

**Steaming:** If you want to keep more nutrients, try steaming the potatoes instead of boiling. Just cut them into chunks and steam until they're soft, then mash them up with some butter and cream.
