"I’d say '12 Years a Slave' really opened my eyes to the brutal realities of slavery. It’s one thing to read about it in history books, but seeing it portrayed so vividly on screen was a whole different experience. It made me think a lot more about the impact of history on our present."

"I have to go with 'A Beautiful Mind.' It really changed how I view mental illness. Seeing John Nash's struggles and triumphs made me realize how complex and challenging it can be for those dealing with such issues. It gave me a deeper empathy for people facing similar battles."

"I watched 'Hotel Rwanda' and it completely shifted my perspective on genocide and humanitarian crises. I had heard about the Rwandan genocide, but seeing the human stories behind it made it feel so much more real and urgent. It pushed me to learn more about global issues."
