**Basic Method**: First, make sure your skillet is clean and dry. Preheat your oven to about 375°F (190°C). Then, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil or flaxseed oil all over the skillet, inside and out. Place it upside down in the oven (with a baking sheet below to catch any drips) and let it bake for about an hour. After that, turn off the oven and let the skillet cool inside. Boom, you’re all set!

**Salt Scrub**: If your skillet has some stuck-on bits, start by scrubbing it with coarse salt and a bit of oil to get it clean. Rinse it and dry it thoroughly. Then, just like the first method, coat it with a thin layer of oil and bake it upside down in the oven at 375°F for an hour. This will not only season it but also help with any leftover residue.
