**The Touch Test**: Use your finger to poke the steak. If it feels soft and squishy, it's rare. If it has a bit of resistance but still gives a little, that's medium. If it feels firm, you're looking at well-done. Get to know the feel of each doneness!

**The Thermometer Trick**: Grab a meat thermometer! For rare, aim for about 125°F (52°C), medium rare is around 135°F (57°C), medium is 145°F (63°C), and well-done is 160°F (71°C) or more. It's super reliable!

**Juice Check**: When you cut into your steak, look at the juices. If they're bright red, it's rare. If they're pink, you’re in the medium range. If the juices run clear, it's well-done. Just remember to let it rest a bit before cutting!
