Well, a good rule of thumb is to check the leaves! If they’re nice and vibrant, and the plant looks healthy, it’s usually a sign they’re ready. Just give them a little taste test too—if they pack a punch, then it’s go time!

You can tell they’re ready when the leaves are big and full, and the plant is looking lush. For things like basil or mint, just pinch a few leaves off. If they smell strong and flavorful, you’re all set to harvest!

Honestly, just keep an eye on them! Most herbs are ready when they’ve grown enough to be usable. If you notice they’re starting to flower, that’s a sign to snip them before they lose flavor. Just go by feel and smell—if it seems right, it probably is!
