Honestly, I think it’s getting better, but there’s still a long way to go. Some films are starting to show women as strong, complex characters instead of just sidekicks or love interests. But then you still have those movies that just stick to the old stereotypes. It’d be cool to see more diverse stories and characters.

I feel like action films have a mixed bag when it comes to women. Sometimes they nail it with badass female leads who can hold their own, and other times they just throw in a token female character who doesn’t really do much. It’d be nice to see more films that really develop women’s roles and give them depth.

I think the portrayal of women in action films is evolving. We’re starting to see more female superheroes and leads who aren’t just there for eye candy. But it’s still pretty hit or miss.
