Honestly, I think film awards can be a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, they definitely shine a spotlight on great talent and amazing storytelling, which is awesome for the industry. But sometimes it feels like they favor certain styles or big names over fresh, creative work. It can be frustrating when some incredible films get overlooked just because they don’t fit the mold.
