Honestly, I don’t think so. Award shows can be super political, and sometimes it feels like they just pick the same big names over and over again. There are so many amazing films and shows that get overlooked!

I mean, they do highlight some great work, but it’s not the end-all-be-all. Sometimes the winners are just the ones with the biggest marketing budgets or the most hype. It’s cool to celebrate talent, but there’s a lot more out there that deserves recognition.

I think they can, but it really depends on the year and the competition. Some years, the nominees are spot on, and others, it’s like, “Really? That’s what you picked?” It’s all subjective, you know?

Not really, to be honest. It often feels like a popularity contest rather than a true reflection of quality. There’s so much good stuff that doesn’t get any love, and it’s a bummer when the same few titles keep dominating the spotlight.
