Honestly, it can be tough! I usually carve out little pockets of time when the kids are napping or after they go to bed. I’ll set a timer for myself, so I know I’ve got a solid chunk of time to dive into my hobby without feeling guilty about not spending time with them. Plus, sometimes I involve them in my hobbies too—like painting or baking—so it feels like family time and hobby time all rolled into one!

It’s all about prioritizing, really. I try to schedule my hobby time just like I would any other appointment. If I know I have a busy week ahead, I’ll plan a fun activity for the kids that gives me a little break. And hey, I also try to get creative—like doing my hobby while they’re playing nearby. It’s not always perfect, but I make it work!
