**Cold Process Method**: You’ll need some lye (sodium hydroxide), oils (like olive or coconut), and water. First, carefully mix the lye with water (always add lye to water, not the other way around) and let it cool. Then, heat your oils until they're melted and combine them with the lye solution. Blend them until you reach “trace” (when it thickens enough to leave a trail). Pour it into a mold, let it sit for 24-48 hours, then cut it into bars and cure for about 4-6 weeks.

**Melt and Pour Method**: This one’s super easy! You just buy a melt-and-pour soap base from a craft store. Cut it into chunks and melt it in the microwave or a double boiler. Once melted, you can add in colorants, essential oils, or any fun additives like dried flowers. Pour the mixture into molds and let it cool until it hardens. Pop them out, and you’ve got your soap!
