**Response 1:** "Electric vehicles (EVs) are generally better for the environment than traditional gas cars. They produce zero tailpipe emissions, which helps reduce air pollution in cities. However, we still need to consider the environmental impact of battery production and the electricity used to charge them. If that electricity comes from renewable sources, the overall impact is way lower!"

**Response 2:** "So, electric cars are a step up because they don’t spew out harmful gases while driving, which is awesome for air quality. But we can’t ignore the fact that making those big batteries can be pretty rough on the planet. Plus, if the power to charge them is from coal or other non-renewable sources, it kind of defeats the purpose. It’s a mixed bag, honestly!"
