**Basic Method**: First, make sure your skillet is clean and dry. Preheat your oven to about 375°F (190°C). Then, rub a thin layer of vegetable oil or flaxseed oil all over the skillet, inside and out. Place it upside down in the oven (put a baking sheet underneath to catch any drips) and bake it for an hour. Let it cool in the oven, and you’re good to go!

**Salt Scrub**: If your skillet has some stuck-on bits, you can start by scrubbing it with coarse salt and a bit of oil to clean it up. Rinse it and dry it thoroughly. Then, follow the same oiling and baking process as above. This method not only seasons but also cleans your skillet!
