Honestly, I just try to learn a few key phrases before I go. You know, like "hello," "thank you," and "where's the bathroom?" It really helps break the ice, and people appreciate the effort. Plus, I always have a translation app on my phone just in case!

I usually just wing it! If I can’t communicate, I use gestures and point at things. It can be pretty funny sometimes, and I've had some great laughs with locals that way. Plus, it’s a good way to make new friends!

I rely a lot on body language and visuals. If I need help, I show pictures or use maps. Also, I try to find someone who speaks English, but honestly, just being friendly and smiling goes a long way!
