I think the media often puts athletes on a pedestal, making them seem like superhumans. They focus a lot on their victories and records, which is cool, but it can also create this unrealistic expectation that they always have to be perfect. When they mess up or don’t perform well, the media can be super harsh, which isn’t really fair. It’s like they forget that these athletes are just regular people too.
