"I think globalization has really mixed things up for local sports. On one hand, it’s awesome because people can see sports from all over the world, like soccer or basketball, and it brings in new fans. But on the flip side, sometimes local teams struggle to compete because they can’t keep up with the bigger, international clubs that have way more money and resources."

"Globalization has totally changed the game for local sports. Now, you can find local teams getting sponsorships from big brands that are worldwide, which is cool. But it also means that local talent can get overshadowed by international stars, which can be a bummer for homegrown players trying to make a name for themselves."
