**Heat Management**: Don’t overheat the wires or the components. Use a good quality soldering iron and try to keep the heat on the joint for just a couple of seconds. If you burn the insulation or the wires, you’ll have a mess on your hands!

**Use the Right Solder**: Go for rosin-core solder; it’s perfect for electronics. Avoid lead-free solder if you can, as it can be harder to work with. And remember, a little solder goes a long way, so don’t go overboard!
