**Visual Inspection**: Start by giving the slot car a good look-over. Check for any scratches, dents, or signs of wear on the body and chassis. Look at the wheels and axles too—make sure they’re not worn down or warped. If you see any loose parts or missing pieces, that could be a red flag.
